Ingredients

  • 6 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 6 ounce fillets halibut

Instructions

  • In a large bowl pour the olive oil and lemon juice and stir it well. Add in the parsley, garlic, and basil. Once this marinade has been mixed well add your salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the marinade over the halibut in a sealed bag or shallow dish. Then, put the bag or dish into the fridge. Keep this cool and marinating in the fridge for an hour and turn the fish every once in a while.
  • Move your grate on the grill to 4 inches away from the heat. Oil the grate lightly and then preheat the grill.
  • After an hour has passed, drain the excess marinade from the halibut and place them on the grill at high heat.
  • Keep your halibut on the grill for 5 minutes on each side. The fish should be grilled until the fish is flaky. This can be tested with a fork.
  • Serve and enjoy!
