Place some parchment or wax paper on a baking sheet.
In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, bring the sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa to a boil. Stir occasionally. Let the contents boil for 1 minute, then remove from the heat. Then add the oats, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt, stir together.
Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheet, and leave sit until cooled and hardened. Takes about 30 minutes. Place them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
