Ingredients
  

  • 2 c white sugar
  • 1 ¾ c all-purpose flour
  • ¾ c unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tsps baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cmilk
  • ½ c vegetable oil
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 1 c boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Take 2 nine-inch round cake pans, grease them with butter and lightly flour them, then preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Stir together the flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add the milk, eggs, vanilla, and oil to the bowl. Using a mixer, mix the ingredients on a medium speed for approximately 2 minutes.
  • Once mixed, stir in the boiling water before pouring the thinned batter evenly into the cake pans.
