Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 c butter cubed
  • 2 c crushed cornflakes
  • 1-1/2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsps sugar
  • 1-3/4 c heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 c evaporated milk
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Once you have all of your ingredients, you can start to make your fried ice cream dessert bars. Melt your butter in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. When the butter is melted, add cornflakes and cinnamon, cook and stir the mixture for about 5 minutes, and then remove from heat.
  • Off the heat, add in the sugar, and leave to cool completely. In a separate bowl, beat together evaporated milk and salt until it begins to thicken. Then beat in the condensed milk and vanilla until it thickens again.
  • Sprinkle the cornflakes into the bottom of a greased 9-inch baking pan. Pour your cool filling over the crust and sprinkle some more cornflakes on the top of the filling. Cover your dish and freeze overnight.
  • When set, cut into bars and enjoy!
