Toasted sesame seeds
for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Combine rice, coconut milk, salt, water, and sugar in a large pot over medium heat.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Remove the pot from the burner and let it sit for 10 minutes. Fluff it with a fork before serving.
Top with sesame seeds (optional).
