Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup long grain rice rinsed and drained
  • 1 14-oz. can coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Combine rice, coconut milk, salt, water, and sugar in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  • Remove the pot from the burner and let it sit for 10 minutes. Fluff it with a fork before serving.
  • Top with sesame seeds (optional).
