Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3 medium tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 c chopped green pepper
  • 2 c sour cream
  • 1 c 4 oz chopped green chilies
  • 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • Green onions optional
  • Tortilla chips

Instructions
 

  • Place the pork sausage in a skillet along with chopped onion and green pepper and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Break the sausage to crumbles while in the skillet and cook it thoroughly until no longer pink. Once all ingredients are cooked, drain the skillet.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies to the skillet. Stir in with the other ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and stir the ingredients occasionally while allowing them to simmer, uncovered, for around 30 minutes
  • After simmering, place the cream cheese in the skillet and stir in until melted before adding the sour cream. Make sure the ingredients are heated through without bringing them to a boil.
  • Once heated, your dip is ready. Transfer it to a fondue pot or small slow cooker and keep it warm. Serve it along with tortilla chips for dipping.
