Place the pork sausage in a skillet along with chopped onion and green pepper and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Break the sausage to crumbles while in the skillet and cook it thoroughly until no longer pink. Once all ingredients are cooked, drain the skillet.
Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies to the skillet. Stir in with the other ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and stir the ingredients occasionally while allowing them to simmer, uncovered, for around 30 minutes
After simmering, place the cream cheese in the skillet and stir in until melted before adding the sour cream. Make sure the ingredients are heated through without bringing them to a boil.
Once heated, your dip is ready. Transfer it to a fondue pot or small slow cooker and keep it warm. Serve it along with tortilla chips for dipping.
