Ingredients
  

  • warm water 110 degrees F/45 degrees C
  • packages active dry yeast
  • salt
  • eggs
  • butter room temperature
  • white sugar
  • all-purpose flour
  • butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Add your yeast to warm water so it can bloom.
  • Mix in all ingredients into the warm water except for 2 cups of flour. After these ingredients are combined, add in the last section of flour. Use a spatula to scrape the dough off the sides of the bowl. Then, cover with a towel, and allow the dough to rise for 90 minutes.
  • You will need to punch out some air before sectioning the dough into two pieces. Roll out each half until it makes a circle that’s 12"x12". Spread butter, then slice the dough into approximately 15 wedges. Start rolling wide end first, then add to a baking sheet that has been greased. The crescents will need to rise again for 60 minutes.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes at 400F until the center is not doughy. Sweep melted butter on top once the crescents are baked.
