- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ½ cup onion diced
- ¼ cup green bell pepper diced
- ¼ cup yellow bell pepper diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 ½ teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1- 15 oz can kidney beans drained
- 1- 15 oz can pinto beans drained
- 1- 10 oz can diced tomatoes undrained
In a medium-sized Dutch oven or stockpot over medium-high heat, cook meat, onion, and garlic until no pink is left in the meat
Add all the other ingredients to the dutch oven. Mix everything together. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about an hour.
