Prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, stir together evaporated milk, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Poke holes all over the granny cake using a skewer. Then, evenly pour the glaze over the cake. Let it cool completely. Then, place in the refrigerator or slice and serve immediately!
