Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • cp onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1- 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 2 cp water
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cp potatoes, cubed
  • 3 carrots (about one cup), sliced
  • 1 cp frozen peas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef along with the onions and garlic until there is no pink left in the meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • In the pot of your slow cooker, whisk together the water, tomato paste, onion powder, garlic powder, ground mustard, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper
  • Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, and frozen peas
  • Mix in the cooked ground beef and cook on low for 6 hours, or on high for 3
