  • 1 1/2 oz. dried wakame seaweed
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 tsp. unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon peeled grated fresh ginger
  • 1 scallion thinly sliced

Instructions
 

  • Put the seaweed in a bowl and cover it with cold water. Let it soak in the liquid until the seaweed is soft and rehydrated. This process should take about ten minutes. Then, drain the liquid and squeeze out excess from the seaweed. Cut the seaweed into smaller pieces.
