2cans16 ounces each kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2cans14-1/2 ounces each diced tomatoes, undrained
1can8 ounces tomato sauce
1medium green pepper
3tbspschili powder
1tbspground cumin
2garlic clovesminced
1tspbaking cocoa
1tspdried oregano
1tspWorcestershire sauceoptional
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the beef and onion together over medium-temperature heat. Cook until the meat has no more pink inside.
Drain the juice.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Bring the entire mixture to a boil. Then, reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the pot. Let it simmer for three hours. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
