  • Cornstarch: mixed with water to thicken the sauce
  • Sriracha: add as much or as little as you like to give a bit of heat to the sauce

How to make honey garlic chicken wings?

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, mustard powder, garlic powder, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. Add the drumettes and flat wings to the bowl and toss until all the wings are well coated with the seasoned flour.
  2. Shake the excess flour off the wings and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Spray with olive oil cooking spray and bake for 30 mins, turning them at 15 mins

Prepare the sauce:

In a small saucepan, combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sriracha, lime juice, sesame seeds, and cornstarch dissolved in ¼ cup water. Simmer until the honey has dissolved and the sauce is thick. About 8-10 minutes

After 30 minutes of baking time, toss the wings in the sauce until fully covered and return to the oven for another 10 minutes of cooking time, flipping them over after 5 minutes.
