How To Make Cottage Cheese and Noodles?
It is very easy to make these noodles, cottage cheese, and cream meals.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, reserve ½ cup of cooking water, drain, and set aside
- While the noodles are cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet and saute the chopped onion and minced garlic until transparent and slightly brown.
- Add the cooked noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, and pasta cooking water to the skillet with the onion/garlic mixture and cook for a couple of minutes until well combined.
- Check the seasoning and add salt if needed. Serve with freshly ground pepper and chopped parsley on top.
Can I Use Low Fat Cottage Cheese?
Sure! It’s a great idea if you are counting calories. You can also use whipped cottage cheese if you don’t like the texture of regular cottage cheese. I love cottage cheese so much that I eat a scoopful on top of Pineapple Crisp!
How to Reheat Polish Noodles?
You know noodles with cream sauces tend to get a bit dry when they cool down, so before reheating them, add a couple of tablespoons of water to your leftovers.

A coal region favorite in Pa. If you don't have or like the onions, garlic or sour cream that's ok it all comes together but don't eliminate the cottage cheese and butter. Thanks for sharing!! Yummy!!
