27 Easy Fun Dinner Ideas

Yield: 6 servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1lb of ground beef
  • 1lb of your most favorite shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (4 oz) can of tomato sauce
  • 1 (4.5 oz) can of sliced mushrooms…be sure to drain these!
  • 2 cups of elbow macaroni pasta

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to a nice 350 degrees Fahrenheit. (That’s 175 degrees Celsius!)
  2. Bring together a large pot of water (slightly salted) to a boil. Cook the macaroni in the boiling water while stirring occasionally for approximately 8 minutes, then drain. (Pasta should be cooked through but firm to the bite).
  3. Stir ground beef while cooking over medium heat in a skillet until the meat has become crumbly and browned. This should take about 10 minutes. Don’t forget to drain the extra grease!
  4. Mix up the ground beef, pasta, pizza, and tomato sauce, as well as your mushrooms into one bowl. Layer the remainder of the macaroni mixture over the top, and sprinkle with the rest of your mozzarella cheese. Cover your dish with foil, and voila! You’ve almost finished.
  5. Bake in your preheated oven just until the cheese is melted fully. (The casserole should be bubbly!) This will take around 35 minutes. Be sure to let cool before serving, approximately 3-5 minutes.
