Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh blackberries
  • ½ c white sugar
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 2 c heavy cream
  • ½ c whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Use a blender or food processor to puree the blackberries with sugar and lemon zest.
  2. Let the puree sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the seeds out of the puree, and then add cream, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Pulse in a blender or food processor for about 30 seconds. It should have a light, fluffy consistency.
  5. Transfer the mixture to your Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours.
  6. Once frozen solid, place the pint into the outer container of your Ninja Creami. Place in your machine and process on “Ice Cream” mode and then again on “re-spin” mode.
  7. Serve and then store any leftovers in the pint container.
